The degree will provide a base of knowledge in areas like programming and development of software web design, databases, and information systems, as well as giving you the opportunity to specialize in the areas of marketing, data analytics, or advanced computer science.

The course will equip you with an understanding of the Windows environment and the use of Windows application software, such as word processing using Word 2002 for Windows, spreadsheets and database management systems and presentation graphics software and the Internet. The course will also teach you about security and e-commerce.

Typically, teaching will be through seminars and lectures with many modules including laboratory-based computer exercises. You’ll also be required to conduct independent study and research, both at home and at the university.
